S. N. V. Siva Kumar, Professor of Economics at the K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and
Research, Mumbai, since 2006, has professional experience of 25 years in academics, research, and consulting. He has obtained his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from the University of Hyderabad and holds the University Gold Medal in Bachelor of Arts from Kakatiya University. He is an approved Doctoral Thesis Guide of the University of Mumbai and SNDT Women's University and has supervised over 12 Doctoral scholars. He has been associated with one of the core management committees of a Mumbai-based banking institution for 3 years. Dr. Siva Kumar is the recipient of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Best Teacher Award in 2014 and Best Professor Award in Economics for the 25 Dewang Mehta National Education Awards in 2017. He has co-authored a patent titled 'System and Method for Evaluating a Corporate Strategy in a Data Network', published in the Official Journal of The Patent Office, India. He has published several research papers in leading national and international journals of ABDC category.
Asha Prasuna
Asha Prasuna is Professor of Economics and International Finance and is the Chairperson of the Centre of Economic Policy Analysis and Research at the K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai, since 2013. She has professional experience of over 20 years in corporate, academics, research, and consulting. She holds M. A., M. Phil, and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Hyderabad. She is currently a Member of the Finance Academy of a leading conglomerate. Previous corporate experience includes appointment as Assistant General Manager (Specialist Economist) at the Unit Trust of India and Senior Domain Specialist at Dun & Bradstreet, India. She has co-authored three books titled Equity Research and Valuation, Fixed Income Securities, and Wealth Management. She has also published two patents titled 'System and Method for Securing Variable Fidelity in Hybrid Networks' and 'System and Method for Evaluating a Corporate Strategy in a Data Network', published in the Official Journal of The Patent Office, India. She has published several research papers in leading national and international journals of ABDC category.
