Randall E. Duran
Randall E. Duran is the Chief Information Officer at 1st Financial Bank USA and is an adjunct professor at the Singapore Management University. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT. At Singapore Management University, he taught corporate and institutional banking technology and financial markets technology courses for the Master of IT in Business (Financial Services) Program. Mr. Duran founded and served as CEO of Singapore-based Catena Technologies Pte. Ltd. in 2002 and is currently its Chairman. Catena Technologies helps Asia-based banks, brokerages, and stock exchanges implement cutting-edge. He is the author of the book Financial Services Technology: Processes, Architecture, and Solutions. His research has been published in journals such as Journal of Financial Transformation, International Journal of Business Innovation and Research, and Journal of Information Technology Case and Application Research.
