A. Kannammal is serving as a Professor in the Department of Computer Applications at Coimbatore Institute of Technology. She has completed her PhD degree from VIT University in 2007. She has 15 years of extensive experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and 3 years of experience in software industry. She is a University Gold Medalist and the recipient of reputed Career Award for Young Teachers, from AICTE. She has successfully completed funded research projects from Department of Science and Technology, Indo-US Science and Technology Forum. She has visited many countries on academic assignments and contributed in organizing many international and national events at various roles. She has authored around 60 papers and is a member in many professional societies. Her experience of teaching, research, and collaborative activities with reputed institutions in India and abroad has helped in publishing this simple book for the beginners of cloud computing.
