Business responsibility is an emerging discipline encompassing various issues considered significant in business and management in the past. It includes important established as well as emerging issues such as corporate social responsibility, business ethics, corporate governance, stakeholder management, and human rights in business. This book is primarily for graduate and post-graduate courses in management, such as MBA and PG Diploma in Management. It could also be used as a reference text in allied disciplines such as social sciences and environmental management. The book has been written with the purpose of offering a topical, relevant, and concise yet complete textbook for students and faculty in management programmes covering various business responsibility-related topics that are covered in different courses or are not covered at all. This textbook is suited for use in classroom as well as for self-study. Middle-level managers, trainers, consultants, and researchers in business responsibility would also find this book to be quite useful.

  • Easy-to-understand language
  • Student-friendly textbook that provides information in an interesting and engaging manner
  • Comprehensive treatment of all the relevant issues covered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, GoI, regulations on submission of annual business responsibility reports as a part of their annual reports by the top 500 listed companies.
